Enhancing Cultural and Green Inclusion in Social Prescribing in Southwest London to Address Ethnic Inequalities in Mental Health

Welcome to The Abundance Project blog
The Abundance Project is a UKRI-AHRC funded three-year research project focusing on improving access and quality for Black, minority ethnic and refugee communities to social prescribing services, with a focus on improving mental and emotional wellbeing. It is led by a team of academics and community groups, working together with Community Research Hubs based in the London boroughs of Croydon, Kingston and Hounslow.
Please visit our UAL webpage to learn more.
Our funding is from Phase 3 of the wider UKRI-AHRC programme called ‘Mobilising community assets to tackle health inequalities’, coordinated by University College London. There are 12 projects in total funded for this phase. You can read more about them here.
Here you will be able to stay updated on our progress on The Abundance Project. We will be sharing Project Updates, as well as Project Reflections. These will be authored by several people involved in the project and from different backgrounds.
